On 19–23 September, the 11th edition of the Lacona conference was held. The opening event was a laser cleaning workshop, which we co-hosted.
We presented the wide spectrum of our equipment's capabilities by cleaning gypsum, ceramic, and metal details and by removing whitewash from mural paintings.
During the poster session we presented the results of the research we conducted together with the Center for Modern Interdisciplinary Technologies, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, into the potential application of OCT (Optical Coherent Tomography) to the condition assessment of glazed pottery and the monitoring of laser treatment of glazed pottery. www.lacona11.org
