Scientific collaboration

In order to ensure that all testing is carried out according to the highest quality standards, the Laboratory works closely with experts and scientific institutions. With some it has signed permanent collaboration agreements.

Our partners include:

  • R. Szewalski Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery, Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk
  • Centre for Modern Interdisciplinary Technologies, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (CMIT NCU)
  • IBZ Laboratory, Freiberg, Germany
  • Traditio Europae Foundation

We also undertake our own scientific projects.

Together with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Modern Technologies, Nicolaus Copernicus University (ICNT UMK), we examined the applicability of laser treatment to pottery. The results of our research were presented at the LACONA 11 conference.

Also, in partnership with the Traditio Europae Foundation, we have been carrying out a project to determine the alloy composition of ancient coins using non-destructive testing methods.
