Salinity tests
The general salt content of porous minerals (natural stones, bricks, mortars) is determined through conductometry. In addition to that, we use colorimetry and ion-selective electrodes to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of soluble salts. Salinity testing is invasive by nature and requires samples.
Test reports include interpretation of results and optional HD microscopic images of samples.
Capillarity tests
We can also offer you a basic research package designed to determine the capillarity of porous materials. We can test absorbency, open porosity, humidity and hygroscopy.
